2024listing

The photo on the left appears on the listing agents’ website:

The photo on the left is one of 88 in a slideshow. First, the property angles are incorrect. Second, the property is suggested to include over two metres extra on the bottom/west border of the property. As one would expect absent proper due diligence, the listing assumes the property line is the division between grass and forest, that the hammock is on #53 property, that the lights are in trees belonging to #53 as well. In fact none of these assumptions are true.

The photo on the right is taken from Google Earth, is dated 2022, and contains markings that I added. These markings are the measurements and angles taken from the 2019 property survey of #53.

I contacted listing agents on Friday, May 24, sharing with them all of my research up to but not including this photo comparison. My outreach was acknowledged, yet still here is evidence that false claims are still present on the listing, two days after an agent emailed me to acknowledge my correspondence and to assure me that they would do their due diligence.

Before seeing the offending photo, I physically marked my property so that no potential buyers expect to own land not actually owned by any owner of #53. This update page is my own due diligence. I am doing all I can to act swiftly, honestly, and transparently. As I only found the many extra photos on the listing agency website last night, May 25, (the offending photo of the false land borders is not on the realtor.ca listing,) I was not aware of this false claim and so am only writing this update now, early Sunday, May 26, 2024.
